I had a great childhood, surrounded by cousins and great friends and people who pretty much indulged my every fantastical whim. According to my Ma Ruby, I was the best baby and sweetest little girl out there. I don't know about that, but all my memories of being a kid are pretty spectacular.
I hope Sophie gets to climb a lot of trees. I hope she rides her bike so fast that her feet can't stay on the pedals. I hope she stays out after dark and catches fireflies in a mason jar.
